From the ED's Desk - Giving Tuesday
In 2012 Henry Timms of a New York City YMCA together with the United Nations Foundations created a day dedicated to giving back. This day of giving gained traction quickly as a result of social media and became the global initiative it is today which includes 75 countries. Over the years the day evolved into what we know has Giving Tuesday and serves as a reminder to us all that giving to nonprofit organizations on this day in the spirit of giving is just as important as holiday shopping.
Fellowship Housing Opportunities will once again participate in Giving Tuesday on December 2, 2025 and your participation is requested. All donations will be used to purchase gifts for our residents this Holiday Season. Please support our residents during what can be a difficult time for some. Help us spread love and joy!
