Dear Friends,
It is my
pleasure to welcome you to our website. Fellowship
Housing Opportunities, Inc. (Fellowship Housing) is an organization dedicated to
promoting recovery from mental illness as a provider of
high-quality, affordable housing, and client-centered
behavioral services. We pride ourselves on being a
pillar in the Concord community for those living with mental
illness. Our roots stem back to the 1960s
and the
community mental health movement.
During
this period of transformation, as public policy began to
shift toward moving consumers of mental health services out
of institutions and medications effective in calming
troubling symptoms became available,
Fellowship
Housing was envisioned by a group of community
leaders intent on insuring that the people arriving in
Concord from New Hampshire Hospital felt welcome and
supported during the difficult transition into the community.
Over the next four
decades, Fellowship Housing has continually
addressed the housing and behavioral health needs of these
special citizens. Today – with over 75 renters and numerous
others benefiting from our supportive services - we are an
agency well-poised to continue to be a primary source of
decent, high-quality housing and exceptional
supportive services to people recovering from mental
illness.
During my 26 years as the
Executive Director of Fellowship Housing I
have been privileged to learn from and work with a diverse
array of consumers, coworkers, colleagues and committed
citizens. Through difficult and challenging times, it
continues to be an honor and pleasure to lead this
organization.
Your thoughts and feedback
are most welcome and encouraged. If you would like more
information about Fellowship Housing, or would like to help support our
programs, please feel free to give me a call at 603.225.1767, send

I look forward to
hearing from you, and sincerely thank you for your interest in
Fellowship Housing.
Yours Truly,
